My main interest is grafting, grevilleas mainly, but many other species. I am also interested in bush food species, particularly southern foods. I worked at the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) specialising in edible, cool-climate species. I also have interests in productive eco-systems and grew up with a strong Permaculture influence (my parents were good friends with Bill Mollison, the main progenitor of Permaculture). Interesting fruits also grab my interest as do birds and native wildlife. I have a philosophy degree and helped to write gardening notes for 'Wild Lime', a bushfood cookbook. I have in the past been the Seed Bank curator and a committee member for the Keilor Plains Group and I run a native plant nursery. |
